FRISCO Josh Obregon tied the game in the first period and then Tyller Robert netted the game winner just 6:10 into the third period to lift the Odessa Jackalopes to a 2-1 victory over the Texas Tornado on Friday night at the Dr Pepper Star Center.
It is the second consecutive victory for Odessa (12-16-4) over Texas (22-9-6), coming on the heels of a 4-1 victory Saturday at the Ector County Coliseum.
Jackalopes goaltender Connor Hellebuyck stopped 31 of the 32 shots he faced and has saved 73 of 75 shots in the past two games.
Odessa continues its seven-game road trip on Thursday at Corpus Christi.
