Officials with the Sheridan Baseball Academy provided an update to the Sheridan Recreation District Board of Trustees Wednesday. Sheridan Recreation District Executive Director Richard Wright explains that the discussion centered around a letter of support.
The Sheridan Baseball Academy is looking to start their fundraising efforts in March to build an indoor facility at the Double Day Park in North Sheridan. Mike McCafferty stated that the first phase of the project would be to raise $500,000 with the goal to break ground on the project this summer. The Recreation District Board of Trustees agreed to offer a letter of support of the proposed project.
