I don't ever bring my husband to playdates. In fact, he hasn't been working for a little over a month and I still schedule things without him during the week.
However, in our group, it's not necessarily weird to bring your husband. Some girls do it, and some don't. I don't ever think that the fathers are uninvolved if they do not attend playdates.
